hi all i'm new with fragmotion and i have a question

how do i assign verticles to bones without any weight
i've tride to assign them with 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 weight but that isn't good enoughf

so what i did untill now is i have a main bone i assagn all the verticles to that bone
then i have 2 more bones 1=ammo 2=hand
then i assign a hand to the hand bone and ammo to the ammo bone
all the bones are assigned with 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 weight
en still it doesn't move correctly

I don't understand why you would want an influence of ZERO?  That, seems to me, might cause problems down the line if you try to export to an engine format that reads weights.

What exactly are you trying to achieve with this setup?  Sounds like you want a full influence and no weighting, of an object to another, instead of becoming a 'skinned' mesh object.

Yeah it sounds like you are miss understanding somthing, you probably ant ridgit (hl1?) linking in witch case you would just assign them with a waight of 1.
