hi guys im pretty new to fragmotion. but have experience with other programs.
i was wondering if anyone could answer the following please.
i have a static mesh premade i import in 3ds format to fragmotion. give it textures etc.
after exprting to b3d the mesh has no texture attached to it and appears as a plain grey mesh. am i missing something?
any help appreciated . thanks in advance.

Are you loading the mesh back into fragmotion or another program and it has no texture? or does the mesh lose the texture immediately after the export inside fragmotion?
If it's the first one, then you should check the path property on the textures in fragmotion. If you're using a relative path you need to make sure the texture is in the correct location relative to the b3d file.

the texture seems to work when i re open the file in fragmotion. but not in any other program. the textures are in the same directory as the mesh.

Alright, I've tracked down the problem. To fix this just delete the blitz_b3d.xml file from fragMOTION/FileSchema. It looks like when you load a non-b3d file and export to b3d the textures and materials are exported with some bogus values which cause them not to show up in a blitz3d app.
