Hey all, After spending some time ironing out my character rig, I would like to be able to fit it onto any human model I might have. I am kind of curious as to the best way to achieve this, as right now, just manipulating the base mesh to match the model seems to throw all of the animations out of whack... any help is appreciated

just manipulating the base mesh to match the model seems to throw all of the animations out of whack I'm assuming you meant to say skeleton instead of mesh here?? Modifying the skeleton will mess up the animations, modifying the mesh should be ok. You just need to select the vertices for each arm and leg and rotate the vertices for each with a 'user point' origin in the 'front' or 'back' orthogonal views until they match the skeleton.

Ah yes, I indeed meant to say skeleton. I understand that I need to modify the mesh to match the skeleton and not vice versa... Thanks for the help BTW sorry for posting in the wrong section.
