Bone Axis
« on: April 07, 2011, 09:51:45 PM » |

This is probably going to be a total nube question but I've poked around long enough and searched the forums. I know I've read or even done this myself before but I can't for the life of me find a way to turn off the axis tool on the selected bone. This really complicates things when working on the hand. Did I perhaps hit a keyboard mapping that turned it on? I've clicked every toolbar icon to no avail.
Thanks.

Thanks nicks, I'm actually looking to toggle the display of the axis rotation guide on and off. It's like the one for the core body but only specific to the joints. If you select the entire hand it makes it look like the figure is undergoing some kind of acupuncture procedure with blue, red and green needles as can be seen below . Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Alt B toggles the bone assignments and adds more lines.
So am I imagining it that I didn't have these turned on before? At this point I'm not so sure.

The axis shows up for each selected bone. My question to you is why do you have so many bones selected?

I was trying to do a tutorial and I selected the hand by drawing a box around it. I just thought it might look visually better if all the axis' didn't show. I guess I imagined them not being turned on previously
