static location

with the animation that i import for my model, it has the model run around the screen, is there a function to keep the model from moving, if not, what is the simplest way that to translate the model to a location for each frame

Open the key frame editor, double click the TranslationKeys for the root bone (or whichever contains the translation keys) and delete them,  or set them to the position you want via Edit/Edit Values
