Topic: Issues with the FBX exporter (Read 576 times)

After some testing I found the FBX exporter uses the last created animation, but I have this problem:
I have these animations
Idle - 10 frames walk -25 frames run - 37 frames
I joined them and exported for testing. I deleted the new animation and when exporting it takes the last created animation(walk) and appends 47 blank frames. I restarted the program and run the "Clean Ugh File" command but the animation still exports the extra frames.

When you say 'joined' do you mean you combined all the animations into one track? Did you delete all but the combined animation before exporting? Did you use Export Selected?

Yes I used the "Append Animations" from the keyframe editor to get one track, I deleted the new one because I was just testing. I didn't use export selected, I tested with export selected and the extra frames are not added. I think I'll just use export selected. Thanks.

Were you seeing these extra frames when importing the fbx into fragmotion or another program? Was the walk animation's NumFrames property changed to 72 in the ugh file?

It was in the AUtodesk FBX viewer I didn't take a look to the Ugh file or the FBX itself
