Help, I can't restore the vertex assignment to bone dialog

colleagues:

I checked the box in the vertex assignement to bone dialog stating that i didn't want to see that dialog again but alas! I do want to see the assign to bone dialog in all its greatness but I have been playing around with the preferences, trying to restore it, but alas when I hit ctrl-b, no dialog shows up.

menu Edit/Edit Preferences, select Edit and set VertexWeights to 4
